    § 01 — Project intent

    What are you
    trying to solve?

Most clients do not start with a system type. They start with a bill, a pump, a backup problem, an isolated site, or a quote they are not sure they can trust.

Start with the operating question. The right architecture follows from it.

    § 02 — System types

    Systems matched to
    your site's needs.

You do not need to choose a system now. We recommend one after reviewing your site, electricity use and backup priorities.

    § 03 — Sizing integrity

Know what is included before you commit.

We complete the Solar Study from your remote information before quoting. If something essential is missing, we ask for it first. The written installation price states its assumptions; a hidden condition or requested change requires a separate written quote and your approval.

    Before the initial payment

    Your written quote

    • 01Your goals, the information supplied and site assumptions that still need checking.
    • 02A remotely studied system architecture and modeled production, subject to stated assumptions.
    • 03A total price with equipment, Solar Study and installation shown separately.
    • 04For full installations, the 10% initial payment and later payment stages.
    After quote acceptance and deposit

    Your complete Solar Study file

    • 01The full written design, equipment list, protections and modeled scenarios.
    • 02The assumptions and limits behind the quoted price and projected performance.
    • 03A site visit to confirm practical installation details before equipment dispatch.
    • 04Any hidden condition or requested scope change priced separately for your approval.
    § 04 — Study deliverable

    What your solar
    study clarifies.

We prepare the study remotely before quoting. After acceptance and deposit, you receive its complete written file.

One document shows what we recommend, why it fits the site and which assumptions support the price.

      Step 06

      Technical proposal

Written study: architecture, bill of materials, single-line, protections, monitoring, savings scenario, assumptions and limits.

When two system types could work, the study compares their expected use of solar energy and costs, then makes one written recommendation.

    § 06 — Battery storage

    Storage needs a clear purpose.

A battery can keep selected circuits powered during an outage or carry some daytime solar energy into later hours. These are different objectives, and neither calls for storage by default.

Isometric illustration of an inverter, modular battery and distribution panel for selected essential loads.
Illustrative equipment arrangement; the final design depends on the site.
    01

    Back up selected loads

We identify the circuits that must stay on, then assess their power and desired duration. Backup time depends on actual demand and usable capacity.

    02

Move solar energy to later hours

Storage can shift some unused daytime production into evening use, but it adds cost and conversion losses.

    03

Use solar directly when it fits

If demand is mainly during daylight and backup is not needed, direct self-consumption may be the better starting point.

    Day profile · conceptual

Match storage to the site's hours.

Before recommending storage, we review when the site uses electricity, essential-load power, the desired backup period, usable battery capacity, inverter compatibility and cost.

    § 08 — Your Solar project

    From first review
    to handover.

Send what you know about your site. Here is what happens next, and when each payment is due.

    Your project, step by step

    1. 01

      Review and written quote

We review your inputs, request anything missing and complete the remote Solar Study before quoting. The quote lists equipment, study and installation separately.

      First review
Free. Sending your project information does not commit you to an order.
    2. 02

      Acceptance and study file

Accept the written quote to receive your complete Solar Study file and arrange the site visit.

      Deposit
10% of the accepted total quote, credited once against equipment.
    3. 03

      Site confirmation and installation

The visit confirms cable routes and installation details. We then deliver and install the agreed system.

      Before dispatch
Pay the equipment amount less your deposit.
    4. 04

      Commissioning and handover

We test the system and hand over its records, manufacturer warranty documents and the 24-month workmanship warranty.

      After successful handover
Pay the separately listed study and installation balance.

The accepted quote states deposit and cancellation terms. A hidden condition or requested change requires a separate written quote and your approval.

Poorly installed rooftop solar array with exposed cabling and an inverter mounted in direct sun, illustrating installation risk.
§ Illustrative installation risk — exposed cabling and poor equipment placement.
    § 10 — Delivery and operating life

Engineering protects the system's operating life.

PV modules are expected to operate for decades, while inverters and batteries follow their own thermal, electrical and warranty conditions. The study fixes voltage windows, ventilation, DC/AC ratio, protections, mounting and monitoring before work reaches the roof.

Commissioning records then show how the installed system was tested and configured. That evidence supports diagnosis, handover and manufacturer warranty files throughout the system's life.

    • String voltage, cable sizing and protection choices are checked against the architecture.
    • Battery temperature, usable capacity and charge limits are documented for the selected chemistry.
    • Inverter placement and ventilation are reviewed for hot-weather operation.
    • Mounting, roof interfaces, earthing and monitoring are included in the handover record.

    § 12 — FAQ

    Common questions.

The practical questions customers ask before trusting a solar study, quote review or installation scope.

Not always. Batteries are useful when backup, autonomy, or load-shifting justifies the cost. For bill reduction alone, a well-sized on-grid system may be more appropriate.

Yes. A bill is a useful starting point, but accurate sizing also depends on operating hours, site constraints, consumption profile, and system architecture.

kWp is the peak DC capacity of the solar array under standard test conditions. It is useful for describing system size, but it does not tell the full story without annual production, site orientation, shading, losses, and how much energy the site can use directly.

Sending project information and the first review are free. For a full installation, we complete the remote Solar Study before issuing a written quote. Once you accept it, a 10% deposit on the total price releases the full study file and is credited once against equipment. The remaining equipment amount is due before dispatch; the separately listed study and installation balance is due after successful commissioning and handover. Study-only and quote-review work has separately agreed terms.

The study fixes the architecture, equipment assumptions, protections, cabling and commissioning logic. Keeping delivery with ReneWave lets the same engineering responsibility carry those decisions through substitutions, installation, configuration, testing and handover. You still receive the study and technical records as part of the project file.

It models production hour by hour across a full year. Consumption matching is strongest when interval data is available; otherwise bills are combined with operating schedules, appliance data and clearly stated assumptions.

Yes. We can review the logic behind an existing proposal and identify oversizing, missing protections, weak battery assumptions, unrealistic production estimates, or unclear financial assumptions.

Yes. Pumping must be designed from water demand, head height, pump curve, irrigation schedule, and seasonal needs.

They are confirmed per project. If civil works, structural calculations or grid-export administration are needed, the accepted quote states whether they are included or separately priced.

Payback is an estimated scenario using the applicable tariff, modeled production, system cost and stated operating assumptions. Actual results vary with weather, consumption and system operation.
