CHINT began in 1984 as the Yueqing Qiujing Switch Factory, making low-voltage switching equipment. The group entered new energy in 2006 through its solar business, including cell and module manufacturing. Today its portfolio also covers distribution, metering and solar projects. This guide concerns the CHINT equipment actually listed by ReneWave, especially inverter-compatible metering. A CHINT meter is not an Astronergy panel, and a generic DTSU666 does not automatically have the firmware, measurement range or interface required by a Huawei system.

Meter and current-transformer package
The listed package uses its documented 100 A / 40 mA CT arrangement. That ratio is not a direct 100 A power-switching rating. The 100 A / 40 mA current-transformer ratio scales the measured conductor current to the meter input. CT direction, phase order and RS485 configuration determine measurement accuracy and inverter response. This meter measures energy flow; it neither supplies power nor interrupts faults.
The exact meter, CTs and firmware/system support belong together.
A similarly named meter is not silently substituted.
