    Dyness DL5.0C 5.12 kWh Low-Voltage Battery

    Exact reference · DL5.0C

Five kilowatt-hours of low-voltage LiFePO4 storage with an integrated BMS for a reviewed inverter/charger architecture.

    Stored energy
    5.12 kWh nominal

Autonomy still depends on inverter losses, reserve settings and the connected loads.

    Electrical platform
    51.2 V · 100 Ah

The supported inverter must operate across the complete 44.8–57.6 V battery window.

    Continuous discharge
    100 A

The inverter demand, conductors, protection and parallel bank must remain inside this boundary.

    Battery communication
    CAN and RS485

A physical port alone does not prove protocol, firmware or pinout compatibility.

    Installation boundary
    IP20 · 49.9 kg

Use an appropriate indoor location and a mounting method suitable for the current datasheet weight.

Do not select this battery from 5.12 kWh or “48 V” alone. Confirm inverter protocol, firmware, operating voltage, continuous and peak current, autonomy, protection, cabling, parallel design and indoor installation conditions.

    01 · Product role

What this product does in the system.

The DL5.0C stores DC energy and protects its LiFePO4 cells through an integrated battery-management system. A separately selected compatible inverter/charger performs PV conversion, AC charging and AC output. The battery cannot supply AC loads by itself.

    Relevant applications

    • Residential solar and storage systems
    • Selected-load backup architectures using a compatible inverter
    • Light-commercial low-voltage battery banks with engineered parallel design

    Why ReneWave may shortlist it

    • Stores 5.12 kWh of nominal DC energy in one module.
    • Provides CAN and RS485 BMS communication for supported inverter protocols.
    • Supports 100 A continuous discharge for a correctly protected and commissioned system.

    Built-in capabilities

Four functions, read before the headline specifications.

    Stores DC energy

Provides one 5.12 kWh nominal LiFePO4 storage increment.

    Nominal platform: 51.2 V and 100 Ah.

    Protects and balances cells

The integrated BMS monitors the battery and enforces documented limits.

The BMS does not replace external conductors, fusing or isolation.

    Supports high battery current

    Provides 100 A continuous discharge and 110 A for 15 seconds.

The complete system must remain within inverter, conductor and protection limits.

    System position

    Storage behind a compatible inverter/charger.

The inverter/charger, protection and AC distribution are separate equipment. No direct PV-to-battery, battery-to-AC-load or grid-export path is represented.

PV supplies protected site loads through the compatible inverter. The DL5.0C remains idle.

PV and utility sources connect through a separately selected compatible inverter and protected AC distribution. The Dyness DL5.0C charges and discharges only through that inverter battery interface. It never connects directly to PV or AC loads. PV supplies protected site loads through the compatible inverter.
